Frequently Asked Questions
We dispatch all orders received before 11am on the same day when possible. All other orders will be dispatched the next working day.

Uni-Shop want you to be entirely satisfied with your order.
We do not supply goods on a trial basis, nor on sale or return. Prior to the return of any goods, you must contact us, in writing and within 7 days of delivery and subject to our agreement, the goods may be returned (we will provide you with a returns number). Any items must be returned to ourselves unused, undamaged and in original packaging with packaging and seals unbroken. In this case, you will be liable to a 20% re-stocking charge, plus all delivery and collection costs to and from yourselves.
Uni-Shop are unable to accept the return of non-stock items or goods on special order or that have been especially manufactured to required specification or amended from the original state.
If you are unable to inspect your goods at the time of delivery, please ensure that you sign “unchecked”. In the unlikely event that your order is received damaged, then please contact us on the same day of receipt. We will then organise repair, replacement or refund. Due to carrier’s terms and conditions, we are unable to process any notifications outside this period.
Any refund will be made using the same method as your order and after returned goods are inspected by ourselves.
Should an item fail or develop a fault please contact us as soon as possible as many “faults” can be resolved quickly over the telephone.
If the item needs to be returned, you must return the faulty item directly yourself. When the goods have been received, inspected and found to be faulty, we will dispatch a replacement item to you as soon as possible. We cannot accept return of goods that have been dismantled or a self-repair has been attempted.
If the item is not found to be faulty, it will be returned to you at your cost. This returns policy does not affect your statutory legal rights.

Yes you can! – We have teamed up with PayPal to offer all our customers Interest Free payments over 3 months! Simply add your items to the basket, if the total value is between £30 & £2000 you can select Pay With PayPal & then Pay Later.
Once you have been transferred to the PayPal website, where you can select Pay Later. You will then be able to make a single payment now and the rest will be taken over the next 2 months on the same date as your initial purchase.
Please note: This option only applies if you have a PayPal personal account. Unfortunately, we do not offer this service for PayPal business account holders.
We welcome collections from both our showroom store and warehouse (for larger items) and we have ample parking out front.
Our showroom and warehouse is located just 25 minutes North of the London orbital M25 and just a few minutes from the M11 (yes, no Congestion Charge here!).
Cut-off time for warehouse collections is 4:30pm and the showroom closes at 5:30pm excluding Bank Holidays and Christmas* when we are closed.
*NB: Christmas shutdown will be announced closer to the holiday.

Yes we do! To order using a Proforma Invoice simply follow the instructions below.
Add products to the basket in the usual way. Complete the necessary steps until you get to the payment stage. Then click on Pay with Proforma Invoice.
Your Proforma Invoice will be emailed to you. Please hand this to your accounts department for payment by Bacs. Please email [email protected] to confirm your payment, quoting your order reference number, the order date & the amount.

Yes you can! We have a large showroom & warehouse full of shop fittings in Takeley. You can view all our products and discuss your requirements with our experienced staff. We are open Monday to Friday – 8.30am to 5.30pm. In certain circumstances we are able to stay open after 5.30pm and at weekends. Please contact us for details.
Although we stock thousands of products and design bespoke Shelving Systems, we appreciate we might not have everything (we nearly have!).
