Archerfield Walled Garden - East Lothian
We recently had a request for Retail Wall Bays Display Shelving, from Archerfield Estate in West Lothian, Scotland. The Archerfield Walled Garden is owned by the Douglas-Hamilton family who have lived and worked the land since the late 1960s.
The first known inhabitants were in fact the archers of King Edward I, who were stationed on the estate during the English advance in 1298. A majestic Georgian mansion is also on the site, which has been sympathetically restored.
The beautiful grounds are a perfect haven for a day out, with many features including a 18th century walled garden. You can relax in the stunning gardens, enjoy a bite to eat in the cafe and visit the well stocked food market. Produce is grown on the estate to supply the cafe and there is also a wonderful spacious gift shop, selling honey from the estate.
Uni-Shop were asked to supply our Retail Display Shelving for the estate gift shop. This enabled a wide range of products to be displayed prominently. We also supplied tie bars, so smaller items could be hung up for display.
The finished result with oak panels behind the shop shelving added to the rustic feel of the gift shop. We are in the process of supplying more Shop Fittings and look forward to working with the company in the future.
