With 100 years experience in butchery & farming, Homer Hill Farm Shop contacted us this week. The family run business is based in Houghton le Spring, Tyne & Wear and has been popular with locals for years.

Farming 110 acres in County Durham, they specialise in rearing Aberdeen Angus, Belgian Blue and Charolais cattle. The meat is sold on the premises and they also offer home produced sausages & burgers.

The farm shop has a fantastic variety of the finest foods and speciality produce. The highest quality meat and produce and gifts from local artisan producers. Offering afternoon teas, coffee shop and retail shop, it is definitely worth a visit.
