Do you know what ghost fishing is? Fishing nets and ropes that are discarded float in the ocean, trapping thousands of marine animals. Because of their weight, they fall to the bottom of the sea and, as they decompose, these nets return to the surface, starting the cycle again.

Our new range of eco-friendly shopping baskets are made of recycled plastic, developed for those brands that really want to get a step ahead towards a more sustainable model. These recyclable shopping baskets help protect the environment, as they reduce the energy consumption and CO2 emissions by 20%, thus helping the atmosphere.

Each shopping basket prevents 1.5 metres of rope ending up in the sea. By purchasing these products, Araven will donate part of its profits to the International Non-governmental organizations (NGO) Plastic Change, who are dedicated to reducing plastic pollution.

Available in an attractive natural turquoise colour created from the fishing materials, no dye has been added. Each basket is made using 25% of waste fishing materials and can even be customised with your company name or logo.
